Brandy has spent over 20 years as a brand strategist and communications professional. In her corporate management roles, she directed public relations, change management, brand strategy and product promotions for leading industry organizations including Texaco, Nalco Energy Services and CGGVeritas. In 2008, recognizing the need for collaboration across all sectors of the industry, she launched Energy People Connect, the industry’s first wholly integrated social network and web 2.0 consultancy firm.
Brandy has served on the development committee of the UN’s International Year of Planet Earth and as the Energy Chair for the American Marketing Association, Houston Chapter. She is a sought after executive coach that has addressed large audiences on a variety of topics including generational issues in the global energy industry, change management, global brand strategy, talent management, leadership development, business etiquette, professional networking and social media.
A fourth-generation Houstonian, she continues to reside in the Energy Capital with her husband, a native Russian drilling consultant. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of St. Thomas.
While working on her degree and since graduating in 2010, Tatyana has worked on a variety of clients in some of the top Austin and Dallas agencies, as well as an in-house marketing department of a Fortune 500 company here in Houston. Starting out in traditional advertising, she quickly migrated to the digital space and has an arsenal of executed campaigns to reference. Ideation is one of her strong suits; she can brainstorm ideas on a high level to establish the brand persona and follow up with a strategic execution plan and deliverables. She's resourceful, always a bright smile in the room, and a helping hand to her teammates and clients.
When away from her iMac and pups, you can find Tatyana working out - mostly yoga or BodyPump - or exploring. She loves spotting trendy places locally and traveling outside of Texas. She puts together mean itineraries for traveling that she happily shares, if you can keep up.
Stephanie began her creative journey studying Fine Arts at the University of Houston and as a page designer for her college newspaper. When she began a design internship at Energy People Connect, Brandy Obvintseva introduced her to the art of brand strategy and digital marketing.
After her internship, Stephanie worked as a web & graphic designer for clients mostly in the energy, tech and legal industries. In this time, she helped launch over three dozen brands, campaigns and websites for a variety of businesses around the world. Her love of bringing brands to life through digital media keeps her focused on doing a brilliant job every time and having fun along the way.
Stephanie calls downtown Houston home and can usually be found live-tweeting events & entertainment for sport, traveling to beaches near and far, or over-ordering on UberEATS. She holds a B.A. in Communication.
